Ola Inez Wingate, age 93, of Flovilla, GA passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 25, 1919 in Worth County, GA, to the late Robert Lee Busbin and the late Annie Henry Busbin. Mrs. Wingate was the oldest living member of the Flovilla Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Warren Wingate; daughter, Carolyn Grace Wingate; and grandson, James Gregory Wingate. Mrs. Wingate is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, James C. and Bonnie Wingate, of Monticello, Melvin E. and Gigi Wingate, of Suwanne, Warren Jerry and Amelia Wingate, of Flovilla; grandchildren, Scott Wingate and Richard Wingate; great-grandchildren, Jamus Wingate, Alex Wingate, Rileigh Wingate and Addie Wise; sisters, Peggy Burke, of Ocilla, GA, and Patricia Owen, of Irwinville, GA; brothers, Robert Busbin, of Tifton, GA, and Bill Busbin, of Ocilla, GA; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Inez Wingate will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 21, 2012 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Neil Walls and Rev. Lane Sanders officiating. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery in Moultrie, GA at 4:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday evening.
