Mrs. Jacqueline Sue "Jackie" Washington, age 76, of Jackson, GA passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.  She was born on Sunday, July 6, 1941 in Duluth, GA to the late Thomas Isaac Cole and the late Lucille Casey Cole.  Jackie was a member of Stark United Methodist Church.  She retired from Kraft Foods and was an avid motorcycle rider, enjoyed gardening and baking.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Lewis Washington; children, Debbie VanBeek, Vicki and Bryan Samples, Donnie Haney; grandchildren, Devon VanBeek, Daniel VanBeek, Erin Banner, Nicolas Haney; great-grandchildren, Vance Banner, Raleigh VanBeek; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat Ivey, Martha and Franklin Williams, Faye and Larry Sudderth, Becky and Rodney Garmon; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mrs. Jackie Washington will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Stark United Methodist Church with Reverend Stephen Soulen officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church at 10:30 a.m. and lunch will be provided by the church after the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to  Stark United Methodist Church, 1097 Halls Bridge Rd, Jackson, GA 30233.
