Mr. James Lloyd Estes, Jr., age 55, of Flovilla, Georgia, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024.

James was born on Friday, October 11, 1968, in Longmont, Colorado to James Lloyd Estes Sr and the late Francis Elaine Pace Estes. James worked at McLane Food Service as a truck driver. He loved fishing and camping and liked to garden. James was an avid Star Trek and Star Wars fan and a serious practical joker.

James is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cathy Pollard Estes; daughter, Deanna Estes; father, James Estes Sr; brothers and sister-in-law, Adrian and Jennifer Estes, Chet Estes; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David and Angie Pollard, Michael Pollard, Tommy Pollard, Jon and Stacy Pollard, special aunt, Judy Ledford; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services for Mr. James Estes will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow at Flovilla North Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
