Mr. James Barry Fossett age 84 of Barnesville passed away on Monday December 21, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Fossett was a native of Pike County Georgia but made his home in Lamar County for a number of years. Mr. Fossett was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ellen Vance. Mr. Fossett is also a Veteran of the U.S. Marines.

Survivors Include- Sons- Robert (Vickie) Fossett of Barnesville, - Richard (Leslie) Fossett of Alexander, VA- Barry (Judy) Fossett of Delaware,- Daughter Lynn Dority of Delaware,- Sisters- Ann Bachelor of Barnesville,- Karen Turner of Forsyth,- 8 Grandchildren, and 11 Great Grandchildren.

Services for Mr. James Barry Fossett will be conducted on Sunday December 27, 2009 at Marvin Methodist Church at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Fossett Family Cemetery in Pike County. Friends may visit with the family at Williams Funeral Home on Saturday December 26, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
