James A. Locklear passed away December 13, 2010 at his residence. He was a Retired Metal and Glass Installer with Commercial Glass and Mirror. Mr. Locklear was a Veteran, having served for 5 years in the U.S. Army Air Corps, from 1953 until 1958. He served one year in Korea, and one year in Europe. He was a faithful member of the Midway Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jacqueline ; His Children and Step-Children - Jimmy, Kenny, Deborah, Terry, Andy and Robby Locklear, Deborah & Randall Taylor, Sandra Cooper, Kenny & Cheryl Chester. His Grandchildren - Alec, Aaron, Robby, Kraig, Kelli, Kristi, Tristin and many others. Several Great Grandchildren, His Brothers - Bobby, Marvin, and Clifford ; His Sisters - Faye Baxter, Amy & George Wright ; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, & other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. James Locklear will be conducted Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 2 O'Clock in the Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Burk officiating. Interment will follow in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday evening (12-14-2010) from 6pm until 8pm.
