Mr. James Jefferson Mills, age 78, of Jenkinsburg, Georgia, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025.

James was born Thursday, March 13, 1947, in Decatur, Georgia to the late James S. and Bertha Mae Mills.  He was a member of Hardeman Baptist Church and was a good father and family man.  James enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling, including deep sea fishing with his brother.  He had been looking forward to a family vacation.

James is survived by his two daughters, Kimberly Williams (Billy), Sandra Presmell (JR); 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Mills; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
