Ms. Lilla Jane Green, age 78, of Barnesville passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Mr. William Preston Green and the late Mrs. Thelma Akridge Green. Ms. Green Retired from the Lamar County School System, having been a teacher for 33 years. She loved to travel, and read. Ms. Green was a member of Pine View Baptist Church, where she was a very active member.

Survivors include: 2 Nieces – Lynn Green Anglin (& Tim), and Lisa Ann Mattison ; 2 Great Nieces – Loree Jane Selman (& Brad), and Tiffany Mattison (& Robbie) ; 3 Great Nephews – Brent Mattison (& Dianna), Walt Anglin (& Ashli), & Chance Mattison Young ; and a cousin – Tassie (& Paul) Bendus of Eugene, OR

Funeral Services for Ms. Lilla Jane Green will be conducted Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Friday, April 3, 2015 from 6pm until 8pm.
