Janetta Williamson, age 91, of Jackson, GA, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Westbury Medical Care Home. She was born on February 25, 1923 in Jackson, GA to the late Ernest Ray Turner and the late Lena Rivers Gunn Turner. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Williamson; 5 brothers and sisters, George, Jack, and Bryant Turner, Vivadon Tatum and Rajeanne Stepp.

Janetta is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Edwards; son, James Williamson, both of Jackson; grandchildren, John Tanner, Michael Tanner, Amanda Tanner, John Williamson, James Williamson, and Brandon Williamson; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Eston Turner and Bruce Turner; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Janetta Williamson will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will be at Pepperton Cemetery.
