Janie Louise Rosser, age 84, of Jackson, GA, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Westbury Medical Care Home. She was born on July 9, 1929 in Jackson, GA to the late John William Hobbs and the late Nora Mae Wilder Hobbs. Janie enjoyed the braves, going to church, family get-to-gethers, helping raise her grandchildren and loved spending time with her family, especially her granchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Eulee Rosser; infant children, Kent, Janis, and Hank Rosser; sisters, Bertha Mae Hobbs and Irene Martin; brothers, John Andrew, Jimmy and Talmadge Hobbs.

Janie is survived by 6 sons and daughters-in-law; Terry Rosser, of Jackson, Dale and Linda Rosser, of VA, Randy Rosser and Neil Rosser, both of Locust Grove, Perry and Kathy Rosser, of McDonough, Wayne and Connie Rosser, of Jackson; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth Satterfield of Mable Hill, GA, Edna Wilson of Barnesville, Joyce and Charles Hamontree of Tate, CA; brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Fannie Mae Hobbs of Locust Grove; several nieces and nephews

Funeral services for Janie Rosser will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will be at Pepperton Cemetery.
