Mrs. Jeannette Johnson Banks, age 82, of Milner passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012 in a Griffin Healthcare Facility. Born in Newnan to the late Mr. Elmer Milton Johnson and the late Mrs. Ethel Young Johnson, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lester Banks. Mrs. Banks Retired from Southern Bell as a Business Office Supervisor, and was a member of Rock Springs Church.

Survivors include: Her Daughter - Brenda Banks Head (& Tommy) of Milner ; 1 Sister - Sandra Allen of Newnan ; 2 Grandchildren - Phillip David Crenshaw, Jr. (& Laura) of Locust Grove, & Charles Eugene Crenshaw (& Eugenia) of Griffin ; & 4 Great Grandchildren - Brittany Crenshaw, Aaron Crenshaw, Andrew Crenshaw, & Justin Bryant.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Jeannette Banks will be conducted Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 2 O'Clock in the Milner Baptist Church with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Interment will follow in the Milner Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Saturday evening (1-7-12) from 5pm until 7pm.
