Mr. Jeffery Glenn (Jeff) Marable, age 54, of Barnesville, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin. Mr. Marable was born August 18, 1962, at Turner Air Force Base in Albany, Georgia, son of Willis and Peggy Marable of Barnesville. He was raised in San Antonio, Texas and Barnesville, Georgia and graduated from Barnesville Academy, class of 1980. He attended Gordon Junior College on a baseball scholarship. Mr. Marable worked most of his career as an auto salesman for Davis-Cooper Ford, Moore Chevrolet and Trophy Ford. He was an active member of the Pinta Lodge #88 Free and Accepted Masons, Jaycees, Kiwanis Club and the Barnesville Chamber of Commerce for many years. He was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors in addition to his parents include a sister, Missy (Tim) Parker; two nephews, Blane Parker and Scott Parker; uncle, Larry (Wanda) Sealock all of Barnesville; aunt, Theora Reynolds of Thomaston and several cousins.

A celebration of Jeff's home going will be at 11:00 Saturday, July 22, 2017, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Garth Forster and Ken Chambless and Rev. Ken Shearer officiating. Interment will be at Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Breedlove Memorial Chapel Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
