Mr. Jerry Carr, Jr., age 52, of Monticello, GA, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019, in his home. He was born Tuesday, June 7, 1966, in Atlanta, GA, son of Carolyn Herrin Carr of Fayetteville and the late Jerry Nolan Carr, Sr. Jerry was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading comic books and was an avid fan of Elvis Presley. Jerry loved american history and presidential history. He loved his family and enjoyed life.

In addition to his mother, Jerry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Shelly Carr of Monticello; daughter and son-in-law, Kalee and Kevin Carr of Carrollton; sons, Jacob Carr of Kennesaw, Tyler White of McDonough; and beloved dog, Molly.

A memorial service for Mr. Jerry Carr, Jr. will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Mark Powell officiating.
