William Jerry Minton, age 57, of Jackson, GA, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 at his residence. He was born September 10, 1955 in Monticello, GA to the late Bill and Rachael Corley. Jerry enjoyed collecting antiques, his 72" TV, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elzie Lee Minton and Onnie Mae Corley Minton Jerry is survived by his wife, Vivian VanMeter Minton, of Jackson; daughter, Tiffany Washington, of Jackson; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Stephanie Minton, of Monticello; 4 grandchildren, Bridgette, Carrie, Dahlia, and Emma; 3 sisters and 2 brothers; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Jerry Minton will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 18, 2013 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham and Rev. Phil Minton officiating.
