Mr. Jimmie Allen Evans, Sr., age 86 of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Harborview Thomaston.

Jimmie was born on Sunday March 25, 1934, in Atlanta, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Allen Perry Evans and Jimmie Foster Evans; brother, Jack Evans; sister, June Evans Elrod. Jimmie is a veteran of the United States Navy; he retired from General Motors as a Materials Foreman. He loved music, playing guitar and mandolin, football and playing the lottery.

Jimmie is survived by his sons, Jimmie Evans Jr., and Jerry Taylor Evans; grandchildren, Travis Evans, Kristy Duke, Jessica Evans; numerous great-grandchildren.
