Mrs. Jimmie Lee Barlow Fields, age 88, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

Jimmie Lee was born on Monday, November 11, 1935 in Hawkinsville, Georgia to the late Wright Barlow and the late Ethel Gardner Barlow. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wayne Fields; sister, Lavada Maddox; brother, William Barlow; son-in-law, Vic Johnston. Jimmie Lee was a local beautician for a number of years and enjoyed making ceramic crafts. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Barnesville.

Jimmie Lee is survived by her children, Jimmy David & Brenda Haygood, Vanessa Johnston & Larry Johnson, Wendi Lynn & Steve Monaghan; grandchildren, Teri Leigh & Troy Coons, Victor Lucas "Luke" & Kaylee Johnston, Alex Tyler & Keri Johnston, and Kelsey Lynn Monaghan; great-grandchildren, David Coons, Anna Coons, Andrew Coons, Halli Johnston, Finlee Johnston, Holland Johnston, Liam Johnston, and Lilee Johnston; brother and sisters-in-law, Tim & Chris Barlow and Betty Barlow; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Jimmie Lee Fields will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Lamar Memory Gardens with Chaplain Scott McMillan officiating.
