Mr. Jimmy Carter Allen, Sr., age 73, of Barnesville, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Brightmoor Hospice.

He was born on Sunday, January 7, 1945 in Barnesville, Georgia to the late Clarence Mitchel Allen and the late Ellie Mae Feltman Allen. Jimmy was also preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Jackie Diane Allen; daughter, Alicia Albright; brother, Terry Allen. Jimmy was a veteran, having served in the Navy. He worked for Rent-A-Center, where he retired as a Credit Manager. Jimmy enjoyed repairing TV's and VCR's and going to the beach. He loved his wife and his animals.

He is survived by his brother, Billy Ray Allen; sisters, Effie (Mike) Ranow, Francis (Don) Hawkins, Frankie (BeeBop) Simmons, and Barbara (William) Yoman; children, Tonya (Alan) Blackmon, Chad (Kaysie) Sanders, Sputnik (Kristen) Allen, Carter Allen, Scott Allen, Crystal Allen, and Jeff Allen; 19 grandchildren.

A memorial service for Mr. Jimmy Carter Allen, Sr. will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Reverend Keith Adams officiating. Friends may visit at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
