Mrs. Joan Lanell Neill Floyd, age 75, of Barnesville passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2010 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. She was a native of Spalding County, but had made her home here in Lamar County for a number of years. Daughter of the late Mr. Paul Neill and the late Mrs. Ruby Lucille Jimmerson Neill, she Retired as the Activities Director for The Arrowhead Nursing Center. Mrs. Floyd was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Barnesville.

Survivors Include: Her Husband - Mr. Mack Floyd of Barnesville ; 1 Son - Garry Stephen Floyd (& Fay) of High Falls ; 1 Daughter - Judy Grubb (& Terry) of Griffin ; 4 Grandchildren - P.O. 1st Class, Robert Brock, USN (& Jennifer) of Italy ; Maj. Garry Stephen Floyd, Jr., USAF (& Kacie) of Shreveport, LA ; Ricky Brock (& Christa) of Forsyth ; & Stacy Ann Floyd Hallman (& Kenneth) of Fayetteville ; 10 Great Grandchildren ; and Several Nieces and Nephews and other relatives.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Joan Floyd will be conducted on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 3 O'Clock in Midway Baptist Church with the Reverend Ken Burk officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Monday evening, December 27, 2010 from 6pm until 8pm.
