Mrs. Joeann Mayo Brannon passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin, Georgia.

Joeann was born on Sunday, February 6, 1944, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late George Macon Mayo and Myrtle Lucille Brewer Mayo. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Mayo and Johnny Mayo; and grandsons, Trent Cox and Taylor Cox. Joeann enjoyed researching her family history. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Joeann is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Bobby Brannon; children, Angie Hannon, Sonny Cody, Jeanine King, Craig Siska, and Elbert Cox; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Danny Mayo, David Mayo, Bobby Mayo; and several nieces and nephews.
