Mr. John Wilburn Blanton, age 81, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at his home.

John was born Sunday, December 29, 1940 to the late Charles "Cy" Blanton and Chloe Bailey. John proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a devoted father, step-father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. John worked at Artesian Beverage Company for 40 years, he also worked for Fritz Chemical and Tile. He had a career in commercial flooring that took him to Dubai and other various parts of the world.

John is survived by one daughter, Stacye Grubbs; step-daughter, Paige Lee; grandson, Nikolas Grubbs; step-grandchildren, Christopher, Robert and Weston; sister, Lynn Oldford; he is also survived by 2 nephews and one niece.

A celebration of life for Mr. John Wilburn Blanton will be held at a later date.
