Mr. John Edward Dolan, Jr., age 58, of Meansville passed away Monday, June 1, 2009 in an Upson County Healthcare Facility. Mr. Dolan was a native of Brooklyn, New York, but had made his home in Meansville for a number of years. Son of the late Mr. John Edward Dolan and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Florence Lovatt Dolan, he was Retired from Delta Airlines.

Survivors include: His Wife: Judith Dolan of Meansville ; A Daughter: Megan L. Dolan of Meansville ; 2 Sons: Matthew R. Dolan of Meansville, & Eric J. Dolan, and his wife, Jaime of Coral Springs, FL ; A Grandson: Ryan Dolan of Coral Springs, FL ; & A Sister: Mareen Madden, and her husband, Jimmy of Winter Springs, FL.

Memorial Services for John Edward Dolan, Jr. will be conducted Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 2:30pm in the First United Methodist Church of Barnesville with Reverend Jay Tenney officiating. The family will fellowship immediately following the service at the Dolan Residence. The family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church of Barnesville on Friday evening, June 5, 2009 from 6pm until 8pm.
