Mr. John Robert Walker, age 88, of Barnesville, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Heritage Inn. He was born November 12, 1927 in Chamblee, Georgia, son of the late Ben and Bessie Eakins Walker. Mr. Walker was a U.S. Naval Reserve veteran of World War II and retired from furniture restoration at E. R. Wilkerson.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Sue Walker; daughter, Connie Walker; granddaughters, Abigail and her husband SFC Chris Bennett, and Olivia Ann and her husband Tim Jones; great-grandchildren, MaryAnn Bennett, Carolina Bennett and Gregory Walker Jones, all of Barnesville.

Services will be private.
