Mr. Johnny F. Roberts, age 71, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Eternal Hope Hospice.

Johnny was born on Thursday, May 30, 1946 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to the late George Henry Roberts and the late Runnette Buffington Roberts. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, serving as a Green Beret during the Vietnam War. Johnny was a former Mason and Shriner. He loved to play golf and visit Maui. Johnny was a member of Rock Springs Church.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sherlyn B. Roberts; son, Don Roberts; granddaughter, Destin Roberts; sisters, Janice Roberts Betsill and Diane Roberts Edwards; several cousins.

Memorial services for Mr. Johnny Roberts will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018 in the Chapel of Rock Springs Church. Dr. Benny Tate will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
