Mr. Joseph Kenneth Garrison, age 68, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Kenneth was born on Monday, October 21, 1957, in Griffin, Georgia, to the late Joseph Guerry Garrison and the late Ethel Estelle Blalock Garrison. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Randy Garrison.
Kenneth retired in 2003 from his position as a road crew foreman with the Georgia Department of Transportation, and later he started & ran his own Dump Truck business in his hometown. He was a member of Rock Springs Church. More than anything, Kenneth loved the Lord. He was a prayer warrior, a true friend, and a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing, exploring with his family, riding his Dyna Wide Glide in his spare time, and he was an avid College football fan.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary Garrison; sons, Justin Garrison & Walt Garrison. Kenneth also has a daughter, Brandy Lusk. He is survived by his brothers & sisters-in-laws, George & Linda Garrison, Chip & Christy Garrison, Matthew & Lyn Garrison. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many nieces & nephews also survive.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Joseph Kenneth Garrison will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Fredonia Congregational Methodist Church, Barnesville, Georgia, with Dr. Benny Tate and Chip Garrison officiating. Interment will follow at Fredonia Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M at Williams- Westbury Funeral Home.
Flowers will be appreciated and accepted, but those desiring may make a memorial donation to the Fredonia Cemetery Fund in memory of Kenneth Garrison; Make checks payable to Fredonia Church, in care of Faye Walker, P.O. Box 719 Barnesville, Georgia, 30204.
