Georgia Juanita Simpson, age 84, of Jackson, GA, formerly of Stone Mountain, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at Autumn Village in Jackson. She was born on January 17, 1929 in Gainesville, GA to the late William Luther Thomas and the late Lela Anderson Thomas. Juanita lived in Dublin, GA from 1957 until 1968. She is preceded in death by husband, Hiram Amos Simpson; sister, Frances Hawkins; and brother, W.L. Thomas. Juanita is survived by her son, Wayne Simpson and wife, Beth, of Atlanta; daughter, Carole Bracewell and husband, Billy, of Dublin; grandsons, Michael Bracewell and wife, Jill, of Dublin, Brian Simpson and wife, Jennifer, of Augusta; granddaughter, Jennifer Mrowka and husband, Steve, of Burke, VA; great-granddaughters, Jordan and Wynne Bracewell, Maggie, CaLeigh, and Lauren Mrowka, Paige Simpson; great-grandson, Porter Simpson; sisters, Margaurite Sandow and husband, Jimmy, of Stone Mountain, Beverly James, of San Miguelie Allende, MX; brother, Sammy Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews Grave side services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Melwood Cemetery in Decatur with Rev.
