Mrs. Karen Marlene Landers, age 71, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Karen was born on Saturday, September 27, 1952, in Barnesville, Georgia to the late John Dolphus Gordy and the late Reno Cora Henley Gordy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Landers; a brother, Glen Gordy; sister, Beverly York; brother in law, Wayne Landers; and a son-in-law, Timothy Skelton.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She was a member of Good Shepherd Church, where she also was the Children's Church Leader. She also loved spending time going fishing.

Karen is survived by her children; Travis Landers, Lesia Skelton, Tammy Landers; grandchildren, Brittany Connell, Kimberly Skelton, Brian Skelton, Megan Martin, and Haley Powell; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Barbara Clark; brother-in-law, Larry Landers; sisters-in-law, Ann & Charles Skelton, Patsy Storey, Debra Bunn, and Wanda Bunn; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Karen Landers will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the Landers Family Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday May 1, 2024, from 1:00P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home.
