Mrs. Katharine Ruth Bradberry, age 89, of Jackson, GA died Monday, April 25, 2011 at Westbury Medical Care Home. She was born on February 4, 1922 in Winston, GA to the late Benton L. and Lorena Brown Griggs. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Jackson and a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed music, church choir, ladies groups, cooking, and loving her family. Mrs. Bradberry is survived by her daughter, Marsha Bradberry of McDonough; 2 sons, David Bradberry and Alan Bradberry, both of Jackson; grandchildren, Brian Bradberry, Kimberly Huff, Mara Wilkerson, Clint Bradberry, Luke Bradberry, Kelly Bradberry-White, and Jordan McMillan-McDonald; great-grandchildren, Peyton Huff, Aniston Huff, Brianne Bradberry, Bowen Bradberry, Brynlee McDonald, and Wesson Wilkerson. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Bradberry, and 2 brothers, Robert Griggs and Ray Griggs. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 28, 2011 in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta with Rick Moncrief officiating.
