Katherine Snyder, age 87, of Jackson, GA, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Grady Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 6, 1925 in Tallapoosa, GA to the late Eulice A. Allen and the late Maggie Lee Clay Allen. Mrs. Snyder is survived by 2 sons, Larry Patton, of Jackson, and Richard Patton, of Newnan; daughter, Barbara McDonald; grandchildren, Darlene McAllister, Wanda Collins, Barry McDonald, Chris, Josh, Kathy, Kelly, and Chancey Patton; a large number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Dr. John T. Allen, of Calhoun; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Katherine Snyder will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. John T.
