Mr. Larry Dale Hamilton, age 56, of North Walkers Mill Road, Griffin, Georgia, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mr. Hamilton was born on Friday, November 8, 1957 in Sulphur, Louisiana to the late Nathan Alan Hamilton and the late Cammie Josephine Page Hamilton. Larry worked with the Fulton County Board of Education. He loved woodworking, cooking and spending time with and loving his family. Larry was of the Methodist faith.

Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife, Norma Hamilton; daughters, Latonia Moncrief and Melanie Alcala; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother, Allen Ray Hamilton.

A memorial service for Larry Hamilton will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 29, 2014 in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfh.com
