Mr. Larry Lamar Wheeler, age 69, of Flovilla, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 at Reliance Healthcare and Hospice in Griffin. He was born on Saturday, March 17, 1945 in Griffin, GA to the late Thomas Jefferson Wheeler and the late Oma Bell Pierce Wheeler. Larry was a truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Tommy J. Wheeler, and brother-in-law, Victor Martin.

Larry is survived by his wife, Katherine M. Wheeler; children, Naomi (Giget) Wheeler, Terry Renee LaDuke and her husband, John, Marsha Lynn Wheeler, Marvin Lamar (Jabo) Wheeler, Jody Eppinger; grandchildren, Timothy B. Farmer, Christopher B. Farmer, Jenifer N. Farmer, Cheynne R. LaDuke, MaryJane E. LaDuke, and Thomas J. LaDuke; brothers, Thaddus J. Wheeler, William M. Wheeler; sister, Deborah W. Martin; special friends, Rachel Bethune, Robin Norris, and Danny Washington; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services for Larry Wheeler will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Union Ridge Baptist Church. Brother Lovell Coe, Naomi Wheeler, and Kelly Coe will officiate. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfh.com
