Mrs. LaVada Hammock Saunders age 77 of Barnesville, passed away on Saturday December 5th 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Saunders was a native of Moultrie, GA but made her home in Barnesville for a number of years.

Survives include- her sons- John A. Saunders Jr. (Jessica Elaine) of Barnesville, - Robert E. Saunders of Macon. Sisters- Eula Garrette of LA, - Barbra Blankenship of Donaldsonville. Grandchildren – Alexander Saunders, Forest Saunders, John Saunders, John Thomas Saunders, Aaron Saunders. Hannah , Isaac.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. LaVada Hammock Saunders will be held at First Baptist Church of Barnesville on Thursday December 10th at 1:00 p.m.
