Mrs. Leah Mayes Prindle Veatch, age 60, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in an Atlanta Healthcare facility. Mrs. Veatch was born in Murfreesboro, TN to the late Mr. Hoyt Leroy Prindle and the late Mrs. Mary Emma Baldwin Prindle. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Mrs. Veatch is survived by: her husband – Robert Veatch of Concord ; a son – Larry Finch, Jr. of Conyers ; a daughter – Dana (& Mark) Thayer of Newnan ; 4 sisters – Joanne Calhoun of Gulf Port, MS ; Carra Taylor of Memphis, TN ; Maryanna (& Bud) Malone of Ponte Vedra, FL ; Linda (& Larry) Bradley of St. Augustine, FL ; a brother-in-law – John Veatch of Barnesville ; her mother-in-law – Edith Veatch of Barnesville ; and 5 grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Leah Veatch will be conducted Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 2 O'clock in the First Baptist Church of Barnesville, with the Rev. Garth Forster officiating. Interment will be private.
