MOSS Mr. Leland Lamar "Joe" Moss, age 70, of Jackson, GA, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Emory University Hospital. He was born on June 8, 1940 in Madison, GA to the late Cled and Ophelia Eaton Moss. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, the lottery, playing poker, and spending time with his family. Joe Moss is survived by his daughter, Pam Sellers, of Byron; son, Lamar Moss, of Jackson; 4 grandchildren, Brandy, Kandy, Charlie, and Katelyn; one great-grandchild on the way; sister, Geraldine Watson, of Jackson; brother, Leon Moss, of Byron; special friend, Peggy Dailey, of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by brothers, J.T. Moss, Calvin Moss, and Gene Moss. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Sherrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Leland Lamar "Joe" Moss.
