Mrs. Lena Moore Moss, age 84 of Barnesville, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.

Lena was born on Friday, April 10, 1936 to the late Jesse Moore and the late Alma Bethune Moore. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Fulton Moss; son, Danny Moss; daughter, Donna Moss; grandson, Jason Smith. Lena devoted her life to taking care of her family. She loved her children and the Lord. She attended Mount Zion Baptist church in Barnesville.

Lena is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Dennis Whitehead, Peggy and Johnny Bolton; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mrs. Lena Moore Moss will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 1:00 P.M at Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Reverend Ken English officiating. Burial will follow at MiddleBrooks cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 between noon and 1:00 P.M at the funeral home.
