Mr. Leslie Horace Faulkner, age 85, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Piedmont Henry Hospital.

Leslie was born on Tuesday, December 7, 1937, in Jackson, Georgia, to the late Otis Franklin Faulkner and the late Janie Lou Johnson Faulkner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers; Kenneth Faulkner, Melvin Faulkner, and Julian Faulkner. Leslie was a member of the Ancient York Lodge #129 F & AM of Yatesville as well as the Worthville Masonic Lodge #127. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting.

Leslie is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Alice James Faulkner; children and their spouses, June Lackey, Kathy Simmons, Dennis Faulkner, Juanita Mills (Blue); 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Leslie Faulkner will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Sardis Baptist Church with Reverend Don Long officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at the church. Interment will follow the service in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
