Leslie (JoJo) Johnson, age 40, of Flovilla, GA, died Saturday, June 2, 2012 at his residence. He was born November 25, 1971 in Griffin. He enjoyed airplanes, traveling, riding the golf cart and 4 wheeler, going to church, meeting people, music, collecting "Match Box" and "Hot Wheels" cars, and loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Victory Tabernacle in Flovilla, and a 1993 graduate of Jackson High School. JoJo is survived by and is the son of Kathy and Henry McElheney and Leslie and Pat Johnson, all of Flovilla; his 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Natoma and Andy Perry, of Newnan, Kim and Raymond Edmonds, of Flovilla; 4 brothers and sister-in-law, Carl and Regina Young, of Jackson, Nathan Johnson, of Monticello, Leslie W. Johnson, of Monticello, Keith Black, of Hampton; paternal grandmother, Alma McElheney, of Jackson; and 10 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doyle and Tommie Lou Johnson, Lucile England, and J.T. Young. Funeral services for JoJo Johnson will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Danny Clark and Rev. Robert Joe Wilson officiating. Interment will be at Flovilla City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Parker, David Pelt, Chris Meixner, Zach Lummus, Hope Lummus, Connie Donaldson, Keith Black, Brian Sparrow, Ray Kinard, Chris Langley, Anthony Bryant and Ronnie Womack. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 - 9:00 PM Monday evening. Donations may be made to the Sylvan Grove Hospital Auxiliary, 1050 North McDonough Rd., Jackson, GA 30233 or the American Cancer Society, 301 Kelly Dr., Suite 3, Peachtree City, GA 30269 in memory of JoJo.
