Mr. Leslie Overhalt Whipple, Sr., age 83, of Barnesville, GA passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta.

Leslie was born on Monday, April 27, 1936 to the late Eugene Arthur Whipple and the late Lydia Fetherolf Whipple. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lynette Whipple; children, Charles Leeland Whipple and Aimee Christine Whipple. Leslie was a truck driver for Preston Trucking Company.

Leslie is survived by his children, Leslie Overhalt Whipple, Jr., Grace Ann & Terry Tinney (Tiffany Dwibhashyam), Eugene Arthur Whipple, Tracy Dee Alexoff, and Florence G. Whipple "Colleen"; stepchildren, Suzzane Lynette & Bill Cramer, Eric Todd Hershberger, Karla Michelle Yoder, and Shannon Denise Miller; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service for Mr. Leslie Whipple will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Pastor David Dawson officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
