Mr. Lewis Hayden Hubert, age 86 formerly of Barnesville, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 in Griffin, Georgia. He was born December 30, 1926 in Concordia, Kansas, to the late Mr. Arthur Ulrich Hubert and the late Mrs. Gretta Lucille Eakins Hubert. Mr. Hubert was also preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Edna Mae Peet Hubert, and by a daughter, Carol Hubert. Mr. Hubert Retired as a Manager for Herman Brothers Trucking. He was a WWII Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Catholic faith, having attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Griffin.

Survivors include: 3 Daughters – Kathy Beatty (& Allan) of Sioux City, IA, Janice Lambing of Sioux City, IA, and Patricia Wilmouth (& Nathan) of Griffin ; 2 Sons – Terry Hubert (& Sue) of Sioux City, IA and Timothy Hubert of Witchita, KS ; 11 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, & 3 Great great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Lewis Hubert will be conducted Monday, September 16, 2013 at 11 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Father Dennis Juan officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 6pm until 8pm, with Rosary Service to begin at 8pm.
