Mr. Benny Lewis Ledford, age 76, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital. He was born on Monday, October 16, 1939 in Barnardsville, NC to the late John W. Ledford and the late Gladys Banks Ledford. Lewis was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed sports, playing cards, and gardening.

Lewis is survived by his wife of 33 years, Faye Horton Ledford; children, Donald, Lonnie, Michael, and Angela; 5 grandchildren; 5 sisters; and 3 brothers.

Memorial services for Mr. Lewis Ledford will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating.
