Mrs. Linda Jones, age 74, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin, Georgia. She was born on Friday, January 28, 1944 in Flovilla, Georgia to the late Albert D. Mason and the late Jewell Studdard Mason Smith. Linda was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by Henry General Hospital.

Linda is survived by her husband, Howard L. Jones, Jr.; children; Michele and Jim Ellington of Augusta, Michael and Hunter Jones of Jackson, Matt Jones of Jackson; grandsons, Hayes Ellington, Knowlen Jones.

A memorial service for Mrs. Linda Jones will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, July 28, 2018 in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Bob Whitmire and Chaplain Alex Bostow officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. A special thank you to the staff of Westbury Medical Rehab Center for their attentive care.
