Mrs. Linda Gayle Lequire, age 79, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born on Thursday, June 28, 1945, in New York City, New York to the late Jack Calvin Crutchfield and the late Ina Hazel Crutchfield.

She was a devoted member of Rock Springs Church, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, led numerous Bible studies and was a member of the choir. Her love for Jesus was evident in everything she did, and she was passionate about sharing that love with others. She took great joy in cooking for her family and cherished every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband of 60 years; David Lequire; son, Glenn Lequire (Karen); daughter, Cindy Mewborn (Jeff); grandchildren, Kayla Brown (Christopher), Jacob Mewborn, Noah Mewborn; great-grandchildren, Ellie and Piper Brown; sister, Jackie Cowart; poodle, Jack. Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Gayle Lequire will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Rock Springs Church, with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Friends may visit the family on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Interment to follow Funeral service at Rock Springs Cemetery.
