Ms. Linda Sharon Peterson Thomason, age 64, of Jackson, GA, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at Dekalb Medical in Decatur. She was born on Friday, November 9, 1951 in Rhine, GA to the late Ollie Franklin Peterson and the late Jimmie Moon Peterson. Linda loved visiting casinos and enjoyed the mountains in the fall. She was employed with the Butts County Tax Assessors Office and was a member of Cedar Rock Church.

Linda is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Debbie Peterson, Richard and Jane Peterson; several nieces and nephews; and a great-nephew.

Memorial services for Linda Thomason will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Cedar Rock Church with Reverend Greg Johns officiating.
