Ms. Lindsey Sammons, age 31, of Guyton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

Lindsey was born on Wednesday, February 15, 1995, in Montgomery, Alabama to Eric Kenneth Sammons and Lori Jene’ Tingle Mitchell. She is preceded in death by her aunt, Amanda Banks, and grandfather, Riley Tingle.

Lindsey was a loving mother, daughter, sister and granddaughter. She was a great protector of her siblings and loved them very much. She loved music with a passion, she would sing her heart out in the car, and loved to karaoke. She also sang in the Church choir and always enjoyed singing. She was full of life and optimistic about everything in life. She was loved and admired dearly by her coworkers at GTC and she will be missed by everyone.

Lindsey is survived by her wonderful children, Riley Campbell, Mason Campbell, Amira Faircolth; mother and bonus dad, Lori & Almerio Mitchell; father and bonus mom, Eric & Chrissti Sammons; grandparents, Peggi Tingle “Nana”, Jerry & Louise Sammons.

A Memorial Service for Ms. Lindsey Sammons will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
