Mr. Loren Andrew Mensinga, age 71, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 Wellstar Sylvan Grove Hospital. He was born on Sunday, December 3, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Andrew Mensinga and the late June Lusson Mensinga. Loren was retired from the Illinois Central Railroad. He was a member of Towaliga Baptist Church.

Loren is survived by his wife of 44 years, Valerie Mensinga; children, Jennifer DeNormandie, Patricia Charles and James, David Mensinga; grandchildren, Collin, Kaitlyn, Amber, Autumn, Kirsten, Gabriela, Jimmy, Carrigan, Jazlynn, and Alexander; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Lori Mensinga, John Mensinga; nephews, Andrew Mensinga and Johnny Mensinga.

Funeral services for Mr. Loren Mensinga will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Towaliga Baptist Church with Reverend Jay Sanders and Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
