Mrs. Louise Goddard Lanier, age 86, of Barnesville passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2010 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. A native of McCormick, South Carolina, she had made her home in Barnesville for the last 20 years. Daughter of the late Mr. John B. Goddard and the late Mrs. Mellie Thompson Goddard, she was also preceded in death by her husband, the late Mr. Charles Bernie Lanier. Mrs. Lanier was a Home Maker, and a member of The First Baptist Church of Barnesville. Mrs. Lanier was a member of AARP, First Friends, and Young At Heart.

Survivors include: 2 Cousins - Lois M. Sims of Warner Robins, & Phillip Thompson of Thomaston ; & A Devoted Friend - Pat Swift.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Louise Goddard Lanier will be conducted Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 11 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Garth Forster officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 10 O'Clock until the service hour.
