Mrs. Louise Lorena Smart, age 79, of Jackson, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.

Louise was born on Monday, March 16, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Clarence Leon Weems and the late Florence Marie Wimberly Weems. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mitch Fuqua, and brother, Don Weems. Louise was a loving mother and grandmother and greatly valued family. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The person that she loved and valued the most in life was her partner, Turista Elmore.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Julie Johnson; grandchildren, Taylor Johnson, Bryan Johnson, Tayla List, Tara Johnson, Triston Johnson, Altana Johnson, Braeden Johnson, Cautia Johnson, Temper Johnson, Sebastian Johnson, Dominic Johnson, Matthew Fuqua, Branda Fuqua; seven great-grandchildren; best friend in life and partner, Turista Elmore.

A graveside service for Mrs. Louise Smart will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 5755 Mallory Rd, College Park, GA 30349. Friends may visit with the family Friday, May 14, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
