Mrs. Lovie Roxie Hood Burnette, age 79, of Barnesville passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Griffin to the late Mr. James Turnelle Hood and the late Mrs. Mamie Ardella Barley Hood, and was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Harvey Daniel Burnette, Jr.. Mrs. Burnette was a Home Maker and a member of Mountain Gap Church.

Survivors include: 1 Son - Dexter (& Lisa) Burnette of Thomaston ; 2 Daughters - Deborah (& Harvey) Gainer of Gainesville & Dale Burnette (& Mark Spohn) of Barnesville ; 7 Grandchildren - Kristen Burnette, Kurt Burnette, Jennifer (& Matt) Wildeboer, Crystal (& Jack) Basford, Carman (& Lance) Templeton, Brandy Spohn, & Jordan Burnette ; & 4 Great Grandchildren - Charlee Kate Ragsdale, Miles Wildeboer, & Libby & Canon Templeton.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Roxie Burnette will be conducted Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 2 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Saturday, August

18, 2012 from 6pm until 8pm.
