Little Madelyn Sue Cardell, infant daughter of Gerald Cardell and Megan Hosey, died Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Henry Medical Center. She was born June 28, 2011 in Stockbridge. Little Madelyn is survived by 2 brothers, Jesse Cardell, of Jackson, and Christopher Cardell, of Griffin; maternal grandfather, Donny Hosey, of Jackson; maternal great-grandmothers, Sue Hosey and Kitty Gilbert, both of Jackson; God-mother, Traci Nabors, of Jackson; uncle, Alex Hosey; other aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Rhonda Gilbert, and paternal grandparents, Gus and Edna Cardell. Funeral services for Little Madelyn Cardell will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 10, 2011 in the Chapel of Sherrell Funeral Home with Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will be at Sandy Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from noon until the hour of service.
