Mrs. Marie Perkins Buffington, age 93, of Milner, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 in a Lamar County Healthcare facility. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Arthur Perkins and the late Mrs. Bertha Harris Perkins. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters. Mrs. Buffington was a seamstress with William Carter Company and a member of the Milner Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Her Husband- Freddie Buffington; Daughter- Elaine Keadle (& Haygood); 2 Sons- Randy Buffington (& Deborah) and Clifford Buffington (& Rhonda); 6 Grandsons and their spouses; 9 Great Grandchildren; Sister- Carrie Johnson (& Marvin); Brother- Charles Perkins (& Geneva); Sister-In-Laws- Sue Perkins and Margaret Perkins; Numerous nieces & nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Marie Buffington will be conducted Monday, February 22, 2016 at 2 O'clock in the Milner Baptist Church with Dr. Ken Ross officiating. Interment will follow in the Milner Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Milner Baptist Church on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 1 O' clock until the service hour.
