Mrs. Marilyn Barron English, 76, of Liberty Hill Community, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015, at her home.

Mrs. English was born May 5, 1938 in the Liberty Hill Community, daughter of the late Claude and Elizabeth Manry Barron. She was a member of Rock Springs Congregational Methodist Church and a life-long member of the Marvin United Methodist Church in the Johnstonville Community. Mrs. English was formerly employed at the E & E Office Supply and William Carter Company. She loved and cherished her family.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Harry English of the Liberty Hill Community; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and David Haire of Milner, Vicki and Wayne Brantly of Barnesville and Missy and Gary Ware of the Liberty Hill Community; five grandchildren, Jeremy Haire, Brandon Haire and his fiancée, Lindsey Payton, Jason Brantly, Ashley Ware and Katie Buice and her husband, Jarad; three great-grandchildren, Ally Brantly, Veronica Brantly and Liam Buice; and a special aunt, Rebecca Dukes.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 Thursday, at Rock Springs Congregational Methodist Church with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Cemetery. The family will be at her home and receive friends at the church an hour before the service Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00.
