Mrs. Marion "Gail" Bearden Scott, age 73, of High Falls passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in a Macon Healthcare Facility. She was born in Fulton County to the late Mr. Virgil Thomas Bearden, Sr. and the late Mrs. Bennie Inez Davis Bearden. Mrs. Scott was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jesse Eugene Scott. She was a school bus driver for Clayton County for a number of years but retired from the Monroe County school system.

Survivors include: 2 sons- Neil (& Pam) Scott of Jackson, and Wade Eugene Scott of Jackson; 1 sister- Jean Norton of Fayetteville; 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.

Memorial services for Mrs. Gail Scott will be held Saturday, October 19th, 2013 at 1 O' Clock in the High Falls State Park. The family cordially invites friends and family to attend and bring a covered dish. Note to attendees that there will be a five dollar parking fee for the state park.
